ခရုိင္အဆင့္ေဆးရုံတစ္ရုံရွိတယ္။ ထူးျခားတာက ႏွစ္တရာေလာက္ရွိတဲ့နာဂစ္ဒဏ္ကို ၾက႕ံၾက့ံခံခဲ့တဲ့ ႏွစ္ထပ္အေဆာက္အအံုၾကီးပါ။ သံမဏိထုပ္တန္းေတြပစ္ထားတဲ့ သစ္သားအုတ္ညွပ္ သစ္သားခင္းအေဆာက္အအံုၾကီးျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဟိုးအရင္လ်ွပ္စစ္မီးမေပၚခင္ကသံုးခဲ့တဲ့နံရံကပ္ ေရနံဆီမီးခြက္ေတြတင္တဲ့ စင္ေတြကိုလြမ္းစရာအျဖစ္အခုထက္တိုင္အမွတ္တရျမင္ႏုိင္ပါတယ္။ ဓါတ္ပံုကို မ်ားမၾကာမီတင္ေပးပါ့မယ္။ လက္ရွိအေနအထားကေတာ့ ကုတင္ ၂၀၀ အဆင့္အေထြေထြေရာဂါကုေဆးရုံေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ ေဆးရုံကေတာ့တိုးခ်ဲ့ေဆာက္လုပ္ဆဲပါ။ ျမိဳ့နယ္ထဲက အမာျမိဳ့နယ္ခြဲမွာ ၁၆ ကုတင္ေဆးရုံ တရုံ၊ က်ံဳကဒြန္းရြာမွာ ၁၆ကုတင္ တရုံ ရွိတယ္။ ေက်းလက္ က်န္းမာေရးဌာန ၁၂ ခု ရွိတယ္။ ရြာေတြမွာ ရမ္းကုနည္းနည္းေပါတယ္။ ဘာပဲျဖစ္ ျဖစ္အခုေခတ္မွာ က်န္းမာၾကပါတယ္။

Health situation in Pyapon township

There is a state-run district hospital. As a 100-bedded hospital, the atmosphere of the past century is clearly sensed with Victoria-era two-storey hospital building, built of bricks and teaks, with wooden floors, reflecting a dilemma with the current health policy of the country. As a phoenix, enduring the tropical cyclone Nargis last year, the building has much historical interest with the old karosene laterns still attached to its deteriorating walls. The annex building is under construction in the same compound, and no doubt after completion of the new building, the pyaponions will enjoy the 200-bedded Pyapon General Hospital in the near future. The township also has in Kyongadon and Amar villages a 16-bedded hospital each. And one rural health center is there in each of the 12 village-tracts. The village folkmans in part rely on the religious and indegenous medical practitioners as well. As a whole, the health status of the township is just average.
